Directions
to the BAMS Flying Field
The Boerne Are Model Society BAMS flying field is located in Joshua
Springs Park and Preserve. Take IH 10 West to the “Welfare” exit. It’s
exit 533 and is for FM 289. Pass PoPo’s Restaurant, bear to the left, and
stay on FM 289. Pass under IH10 West and turn right. Use the second park
entrance & check in with the park personnel on duty.
There's a 94 decibel
sound limit on planes in the park. So you'll need a relatively quiet nitro
plane or electric.
